HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR CONCERTS?
To purchase tickets, please visit our website's Show Schedule. We also accept phone reservations at 212-576-2232.
THERE IS AN EMPTY DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR. ARE YOU OPEN? WHO IS PLAYING?
An empty date on our calendar indicates that the date has yet to be announced. All closures will be displayed as such. If there is any doubt, please call the club at 212-576-2232.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP RESERVATIONS?
We ask that parties over 12 make a group dining reservation. Please go to our Private Events page to get in contact with our group dining staff.
IS THERE A STUDENT, MILITARY OR SENIOR DISCOUNT?
We do not have a senior discount. All tickets are five dollars off for students and members of the military who show valid ID. “Mingus Mondays” shows are half price for students.
HOW DO I BUY TICKETS AS A GIFT OR FOR A FRIEND?
We offer gift cards that are redeemable for food, drink, and cover charges. To purchase, please visit the USHG website.
CAN I AVOID THE SERVICE CHARGE IF I COME TO THE CLUB IN PERSON?
Only tickets bought through TicketWeb are subject to a service charge. However, a portion of all online ticket sales benefit the Jazz Foundation of America, which supports jazz musicians in peril worldwide.
WHEN ARE CONCERTS?
Jazz Standard presents two shows a night, one at 7:30pm and one at 9:30pm, seven days a week. Sometimes, we add a 11:30pm set on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate high demand. Our updated show schedule may be found on our website.
DO YOU SERVE FOOD AND DRINKS?
We are proud to offer Blue Smoke's complete menu downstairs at the club, and we invite all of our guests to enjoy dinner before or during the show. Doors open early to allow for a relaxed dining experience. We also offer Blue Smoke's beverage menu including its signature cocktails, an extensive wine and beer list, and a robust selection of liquor with a focus on bourbon and rye whiskey.
IS FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE BAR?
Yes, food is served at the bar. Unfortunately, we cannot serve food on the ramp.
IS THERE A FOOD OR BEVERAGE MINIMUM?
We're very proud of our "never a minimum" policy. Come and enjoy world-class jazz with or without a world-class meal. The choice is yours!
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
We don't have a strict dress code at Jazz Standard, just come wearing whatever you feel most comfortable in.
DO YOU SEAT INCOMPLETE PARTIES?
We will seat incomplete parties, but members of the party need to arrive before the show starts to ensure that they are seated with the rest of their group.
IS THERE PARKING NEARBY? DO YOU VALIDATE?

CAN I TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AT THE SHOW?
Once the house lights come down, we ask that photographs not be taken during the show, with or without flash. Jazz Standard encourages photos be taken before or after the show. Don't forget to share your pictures socially. We would love to see and share them. @jazzstandardnyc
WHAT CAN I DO IF TABLE SEATS ARE SOLD OUT TO A CONCERT I WANT TO SEE?
We routinely sell out Jazz Standard, and we recommend that you reserve your tickets online in advance. If a show is sold out, we ask that you come down to the club to join the waitlist. We try to accommodate all guests and will do our best to get you seated for the show.
DO YOU SELL T-SHIRTS, CDS, ETC.? WHEN IS THE GIFT SHOP OPEN?
Artists sell CDs and other merchandise after the show. They are mostly sold at the bar, but artists will sometimes have representatives selling them in the club's lobby. The post-show announcements will let you know where merchandise is being sold.
WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and USHG gift cards.
SOMETIMES I SEE "RESERVED" TABLES AT THE CLUB. HOW DO I GET ONE OF THOSE?
These seats are reserved for parties with special needs, or guests and family members of the artist performing that evening.
DO YOU RENT JAZZ STANDARD FOR PRIVATE EVENTS?
We do rent out Jazz Standard for private events. For more information, please visit our Private Events page.
IS THE CLUB WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Jazz Standard offers easy access seating, plus assistance in getting from street level to the downstairs club. We also offer a gender-neutral, accessible bathroom. For additional assistance and to reserve easy access seating in advance, please call 212-576-2232 (Voice only).
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? WHAT IS YOUR SEATING POLICY?
All seats, whether reserved online, in person, or over the phone are first come first serve. Doors open at 5:30pm for 7:30pm performances and 9:00pm for 9:30pm performances. We suggest that you arrive at the club early to secure a seat and enjoy your meal with us.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION AT YOUR VENUE?
There is no strict age restriction at our venue. Well-behaved children are welcome. If you are worried about whether or not your child is ready to take in a performance, we suggest attending our Sunday "Jazz for Kids" performance instead.
